Fire protection of steel, stainless steel and aluminium structures in severe fire conditions and harsh environment.
CHAR 27 is a two-component epoxy intumescent coating based on solvent-free epoxy resin with active intumescent ingredients.
In the presence of fire, CHAR 27 develops a protective multicellular char to provide thermal insulation. CHAR 27 gives a restricted expansion ratio with tough and mechanically resistant char.
100 % solids, to be applied by pre-heated, mix-in-gun airless spray or by trowel.
