CHAR 21Plus is used for fire protection of constructional steel, providing resistance to fire for up to 90 minutes.
CHAR 21Plus comes with the most recent European certifications based on the newest standard EN 13381-8, with ETA (European Technical Approval) n°17/0180 issued by CSIC and EOTA, CE mark and DoP.
A very low VOC waterborne high performance intumescent coating, providing an effective fire barrier and a stable low heat transfer char for effective and long term protection. Can be used in interior environment classes Z1 and Z2 according to ETAG 018 (without topcoat) and semi-exposed environments class Y according to ETAG 018 (with IRISOL acrylic solventborne topcoat or PURETHAN solventborne 2K polyurethane topcoat).
